Why does it always seem so hard to balance healthy and delicious, especially when you have a sweet tooth? This is the perfect recipe to satisfy both: A tasty twist on traditional banana bread.
This banana bread has all of the goodness your taste buds crave, but is made from more natural and healthier ingredients such as coconut oil, almond flour, oats, and honey to sweeten it instead of refined sugar.
After trying different types of banana breads through the years, but always feeling so guilty when they suddenly disappear from the plate and my belly feels so full, I recently decided to do some culinary investigating about how to make it with healthier substitutions. I wanted the same great flavor, but NOT the same fat, calories, gluten, processed ingredients, or the wrong kind of carbs.
Disclaimer– I’m not saying this is the healthiest recipe in the world by any means. All I’m saying is that it is better for you than the average banana bread. So remember, all things in moderation. 😉
Easy to make and easy to bake, you’ll have a scrumptious bread to serve as a sweet side or dessert to any meal no matter what time of day, or just a delicious and healthy snack. Enjoy!
