Arroz con leche is one of my favorite desserts, especially during the winter. This is simply cooked white rice with milk and sugar.
Many people make it with milk and a lot of sugar but the way I make it is with condensed milk and evaporated milk– the same combination of milks that I love to use for a tres leches cake.
Start by cooking the white rice.
Right after the rice is cooked pour the condensed milk and evaporated milk, while it is still hot.
Serve it warm! It’s absolutely delicious. Sprinkle cinnamon on top and if you like raisins, add some of those too.
Enjoy!
