Hello everyone!
I wanted to share a tasty guacamole recipe that everybody loves. It is a big hit every time I make it.
I am Mexican and have been eating guacamole all of my life made with the same fast and easy recipes. Just cut the avocado, scoop it out, put it in a bowl, mash them, done!
One night at a party another Mexican friend of mine made this delicious guacamole. To me it didn’t taste like the same old guac. Don’t get me wrong, the fast and easy recipes are good, too, because avocados are just delicious! but it was very flavorful, made with the perfect combination of ingredients, no more, no less. Everybody enjoyed it and it didn’t last long! I have been making it this way ever since.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I do at your next FIESTA!
- 3 Avocados
- 2-3 Limes juiced (depending on personal taste)
- ¼ small yellow onion diced
- 1 tomato diced
- 1 cup finely chopped fresh cilantro
- Salt to taste
- Scoop out the avocados into a mixing bowl. Add the juice of the 2 or 3 limes and mash.
- Add the onion, tomato, cilantro and salt. Stir until well mixed.

This sounds wonderful! Did you use the yellow onion in the one you prepared for us?
Yes, I used yellow onion but you can use any onion you like most. It also tastes good with red onion. 🙂
